tfw you stayed up until 6 am only to see NRG get rekt
Can't wait for this meta to be over.
Taimou wrote a detailed response on Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/Competitiveoverwatch/comments/5intjk/taimou_may_miss_mlg_vegas_opener/db9tk7g/
Fly all the way to Korea only to be fucked by the map pool. GG.
Every time they come up with these weird comps and get wiped by the meta comps. Every fucking time. I stayed up for this. FML.
How can you not run Rein against Hog and D.va?
The dream is alive.
Do we know what map was that?
How is this even possible?
I understand the reasoning, but putting the weakest team straight to the semis is dumb.
Does skipjack speak French? If he doesn't I feel bad for him.
I'm just happy that this is the last time I hear the "bang bang" song. I hope.
So now they are doing just one BO5 a day? The pace of this tournament is so exciting.
That's what you get for being cocky.
EDIT: Also Reinforce killing the whole team charging that d.va ult.
I don't know about Kryw, but having occasionally watched Cooler's streams, I can't imagine his personality meshing well with anyone.
Talespin is not leaving OW https://twitter.com/EnVy_Talespin/status/798990750906097666
With so many free agents currently available they can form a top-tier team.
And Taimou didn't sound confident at all.
You guys really overhyped this new roster for me.
I tried to keep an eye on this team.
They had a good run in one of the Eleague qualifier days, iirc. And that was due to Cypher and Kensi playing out of their minds. Other than that I don't remember ANOX playing on a tier 1 level.
Cypher and Cooler are no longer with the team. Kensi, while being really talented, is super inconsistent. Rubik and Anak are solid right now, judging by their World Cup performance. Sharyk is alright. Can't really say anything about the new guys.
The potential is there, though. I wish them all the best. It would be cool to have a good Russian team to root for.
To be completely honest, no. But no one was really. It was "Russia vs. Korea" type of situation.

Great play from Poke? When was that?
Undeserved silver? Have you seen the previous games or are you just here to shitpost? Russia upset two major favorites. It is one of, maybe, three teams in the entire tournament that has some level of coordination.
Sweden got fucking wrecked by Korea, despite having a stacked roster with arguably the best players in their roles. Finland was destroyed by Russia just yesterday and they got this far on Taimou's back.
What do you do about an Ana that hits every sleep dart? What do you do about a Winston that never dies? Fuck this shit. Seriously. "Undeserved" my ass.
tl;dr: Stop embarrassing yourself.
This is going to be tough, but I believe.
What was that Ana spawn camp? Koreans sure like to show off.
Actually we saw quite a bit of Ana POVs this time. But they do say "Shadowburn" a lot.
I know. Was just checking in case it was a temporary placeholder.
Is it still BO3?
This series is hype. Great start to a great day.
How are the maps picked in this tournament? I assume they are picked by Blizzard since we are watching 2CP for two days in a row.
This was more one-sided than any quick play game I've ever had.
EDIT: Koreans are mean though.
Let's fucking go.
Honestly did not expect Germany to be so mediocre.
The only thing bad about this is the timezone. They could've at least started at 10am PDT. RIP my sleep schedule.
When Rouge are on, they are unstoppable
Leetaejun seems to be lackluster comparing to other LH players.
EDIT: Nepal was super laggy, yeah
That production quality though
Like ratings matter that much with all the roster changes going on all the time and a bunch of crazy good Koreans coming in into the scene. I have no idea who are the top 10 teams anymore.
We'll see in the finals, I guess.
You've seen Rouge vs. Lunatic, right?
Honestly, I don't see any issues with NRG. They have never been stronger. Apart from a couple of dumb mistakes that may have cost them games, they were really good. They put up a way better fight than Rouge.
But Lunatic are looking like the best team in the world right now. I think they could've easily taken on Envy.
And then they choke as is tradition
People should really stop calling NRG "Seagull's team". Enigma, Gods and Dummy are really stepping up on KoTH.
I believe the stream link in this is incorrect. Shouldn't it be bananaculture instead of OGN?
NRG never looked this good and coordinated
