OPC and APEX are pretty big, but I really don't think that ESL AU can be counted as a "big lan". You will notice that its prize pool fits just within the community licence, meaning blizzard didn't have to grant it. Same with CyberGamer. Still looking forward to it, will be great to see the top Aussie teams at LAN.

OPC and APEX both have massive prize pools, and OPC is actually a blizzard run event from top to bottom.

Also, this article seems to center around EU/NA events - the absence of which is something to be concerned about for sure.
