China to finals let's fucking go!

Can't tell if LFZ looks weaker this season or everyone's gotten better, because T1W really made it tough for them. That match could have gone either way depending on which team made fewer mistakes. I think this could be a close one if LGD can shut down Erster's Genji and Diem's Widow. I hope LGD finally wins a championship, so I'm gonna go with LGD 4-3.

T1W plays a little like Runaway in that they sometimes play way too aggro and lose fights because of it. IDK on Lucio re-capping the point on Lijiang changed everything, and they just looked super tilted after that. Unfortunate because T1W played super well.

I think they have a huge shot next season if they can refine their shotcalling, because the talent is definitely there.

I've rewatched that Ilios Well match like 5 times already. Each time I am at AWE how Runaway pulled that back. Slime absolutely deserved MVP there. He did so much. Jesus Christ I am getting chills typing this!

Both get picked up for OWL would be so cool. But two players from EM are too young.

I can't predict this one.. It could go 3-2 either teams. But one thing to keep in mind is how EM has performed against teams that Runaway has won 4-0 and 3-1. EM got 4-0'd by MVP Space which Runaway beat 3-1 (but you can say EM didn't try since the results didn't matter..). Runaway also STOMPED X6 4-0, but EM vs X6 was a super close 3-2 series. Weakened EM? Or would EM counter Runaway well?

We'll find out in two days I guess.

Life of a Runaway fan is long and tough

January is a sick month for e-sports internationally. Really wish CN has some actual competition against the KR teams with MY gone. At the same time, I want Runaway to finally get their first place in a competition. The uncrowned kings. It took LH 2-3 events to go from the uncrowned kings to first place winners. Maybe Runaway will be the same?

VG is China's only hope monkaS. Let's hope they do well.

While China lost, they only practiced a week with 4 subs. Eileen and Leave are both insane, and Chinese OW still has massive potential

I want Runaway to win, but looking at GC Busan.. I think they'll take it either 4-3 or 4-2. But I'll still support my boys no doubt.

I think it will be map dependent. Kaiser on King's Row made him look untouchable. But GC Busan's dive is also insane making me unsure if Kaiser will survive that. Then again, Kaiser is basically a DPS tank and doesn't play Rein like most of other Reins do - he goes super aggressive and swings his hammer a lot.

The Runaway of China vs the Runaway of Korea - this will be a fantastically fun match to watch.

Wow I don't know who to support. I really want CN OW to do well, so I've been rooting hard for MY. But Runaway is also my favorite team. Whoever wins, I'll be happy.

Yeah that Barrier engage on Blade wasn't good.. They definitely could have held under the bridge. But even as a Runaway fan, I got to say, GC Busan just is the better team. Their coordination and especially Profit's blade timing usage was just better. Haksal was largely ineffective once GC Busan figured out to disengage or counter his blades.

4-3 Runaway let's go!!!!!!!!! Just three more days. Probably the most hyped match for me all season!

I really want to see the best Chinese team prevail, so I gotta go with MY.

4-2 Runaway. GC Busan exploited KDP and LH's DPS duos relying too much on their team for support. We know Stitch and Haksal play just as well with little to no support from their team. Also KDP and LH likely don't care much about APEX anymore with the acquisition/OWL. This will be a close game nonetheless, but I gotta give it to Runaway.

LET'S GO RUNAWAY! FIGHTING! EASY 4:0!

Hope this gives the boys some much needed motivation and confidence for the finals. GC Busan looks scary, but if it's a team that will beat them (and that actually did), it's Runaway. Runaway's DPS duo survives without much support from their team, which I think was the issue with KDP and LH. KDP and LH are too coordinated, and so when things don't go their way, the team falls apart. We know how good Haksal is surviving by himself. So excited.

There's many at play here, to be honest.

We saw GC Busan deconstruct Lunatic High and executed that deconstruction perfectly. Of course, it doesn't help that most teams have LH in their crosshairs, so perhaps there's an inherent bias there. The other factor is that Lunatic Hai is super predictable in their roster, play style, and strategy. GC Busan definitely abused that lack of flexibility to a very big degree. With that said, I think GC Busan will also analyze Kongdoo to a similar level. It perhaps may be harder with how much more versatile Kongdoo is (also Birdring and Rascal being a vastly superior/moreflexible DPS duo compared to LH's).

With that in mind, I think it will be a fairly close one, so I gotta say 4-2 C9 Kongdoo.
