Not to say Space is bad but Valiant were shit in Goats meta when he played, then subbed himself out when they got better and only came back into the lineup because of 2-2-2 and weren’t able to make playins for playoffs. The players picked ahead of him had much better seasons.

I’m actually really interested in seeing how Jake does casting especially with ZP. Seeing how Japan stacks up against the rest of these teams too should be fun to watch. Can’t wait.

Yea some one should have told Philly they had a match today. Would have been a lot more entertaining had they shown up.

Valiants DPS just have no flexibility to switch on the fly. Sure Soon is a great tracer and a decent widow but if neither of those heroes are working then he’s ineffective. Agilities didn’t show up today either. His hanzo is really lacking and you could tell they were both vastly being outplayed by the dps of the Spitfire. Profit and Birdring can just play everything at a high level and that led to LA’s demise

While I’m sure I’ll still be watching some of the matches this stage, if only just for the tokens, my interest in this stage has significantly decreased. Pretty lame to be playing on a patch that was live for 2 days. They really dropped the ball here on this one.

This article was posted on here like a week or so ago but was taken down, presumably because it wasn’t official yet. Now that it is its back up.

Yea i came here to check snillo’s stats from that game cuz he went off and was very surprising to see profit only getting 5 kills. That’s quite a difference in tracer play and probably the reason why Philly took that match.

I’m fairly certainly any big company has social media policies of their own that would punish their employees if they took to social media to make defamatory comments against that company. Hell when i worked for in n out burger if they found you making bad comments about the company on social media they would take actions against you and that’s exactly what’s happening here. Think about how much money the orgs had to put up just to be apart of OWL and the players are getting insurance provided by the orgs as well so while you may think 50k+ may not be a lot of money, for playing video games and getting insurance I’d say it’s a great opportunity. Not to mention the team that wins the first season wins a million dollars, plus the bonuses for how well you finish during the regular season. There’s definitely a lot of money going into OWL.

As for creating rivalries, xQc is going against the people that are helping bring the league to everyone. What kind of cool and interesting rivalry is that? You want rivalries where other players call each by derogatory terms? Doesn’t sound like a cool and interesting rivalry to me.

It’s not just about the emote, it’s also his comments made towards the casters. Not to mention he’s already been fined and suspended for inappropriate comments he’s made before so you’d figure that he’d know better by now. They also released the new code of conduct for the OWL players as well in late February so you have to hold the players to a higher standard. I honestly think it’s foolish trying to justify xQc’s actions. They’re getting paid quite a bit of money to be apart of the league not to mention how great of an opportunity it is to be apart of it. If some one isn’t able to follow the proper code of conduct to be apart of the league then they’re fully justified in punishing some one, especially one that’s been a repeat offender.

Just from the day of playing her she seems okay but definitely dependent on the comp that gets run with her. You almost always would need a rein with her because she seems like a front line healer to really get the most out of her healing abilities and you need that consistent shield there to always protect her. With a rein/zarya/zen comp she could be really strong especially with her ult. A 550 health Zarya and 350 health zen is pretty nuts with her ult. And if you play it well you’ll be able to keep the armor from her ult on those two heroes for a while but it’s a question if you’ll have enough heals with a zen/brigette comp.

Mercy could make a slight comeback in a comp with brigette since she could shield a mercy for a rez plus give her the armor to allow her to not get eaten up going for a rez. But if you’re not death balling with her then she’s pretty useless. The shield charge isn’t bad for stunning ults too but her shield would get easily destroyed at higher elos.

Yay now i don’t have to always play mercy to win!!

Eh he hasn’t been too terrible but he hasn’t been that great either. He doesn’t seem to have very much in depth knowledge of the actual game and it was really annoying during the first week when he kept saying heroes had gained a lot of energy referring to the ult charge that they had gotten. Considering that ZP isn’t apart of the casting crew it’s really surprising that they went with Semmler especially since ZP and Hex have casted so many games together.

As far as him on the desk today as the main host, I’m reallly not a fan. He doesn’t really seem to know where he’s going half the time and there just seems to be too many dead moments with him there. Again with his seemingly lack of in depth knowledge about the game and the scene, he just really seems out of place more than anything. Maybe he’ll start getting into it more the more he’s around, but he’s been very underwhelming thus far.

xQC has always displayed incredible levels of immaturity in his streams, and while he may say it’s his “streamers personality” or whatever excuse you want to give to it, I really think that they should come down hard on him to really send him a message to either change your attitude or find yourself no longer apart of OWL. A big fine and bigger suspension should suffice, honestly if they don’t fine him though i doubt anything will change from it because just a suspension won’t have the same impact as taking away some of the money he’s earned from his contract. It’s definitely a privaledge being apart of OWL and I hope they don’t take this lightly.

Eh I think Logix has been wildly inconsistent thus far. He’s had some moments on mccree very early on but Neko had his number when they played Boston. I feel like they’re better off just having Tviq playing tracer and put Logix on anything else or look to pick up a free agent dps that can been more consistent.

I’m honestly shocked that Adam isn’t on an OWL team in this mercy meta. You put him on Shock and they’re instantly better cuz now they’d have a solid mercy to run in their comps. He needs to get signed by somebody eventually

What even used to be their roster? I feel like it's been so long since I've seen them but this roster right here looks like it can do some things
