Does Selfless have the money to buy out IDDQD is the bigger question. I think not. If NRG are to want to continue, instead if building around Seagull and having shit hit the fan afterwards, they build a team around IDDQD they would probably see more success.

But a man can dream.

Who knows how this game will go to be honest, I can see NiP winning this honestly with the recent roster changes to Cyclowns. They have lost some of their star talent.

Eh the earthshatter change has gone through. Nail in the coffin for Reinhardt now Genji can jump over it and you can sit on the cart and not be hit.

#27 I doubt it is about the slot but more about the results. There's also no return for sponsors or the company until the League is out so they'd rather just not be paying people.

I'm so hype for Pine and Fl0w3r to be on the team together. Pine was carrying his team in challengers last season.

Neither of these teams are used to winning that they're just trading maps with each other.

Can't wait to see Birdring and Rascal slaying. I hope this switchup works out for them. Sure there's no 5k hooks but Birdring is actually a sick hog too if they need one.

You're probably not the only one but I can't see myself why it's boring.

Season 1 they finished first place. Season 2 on a different patch as well as coming out of an NA lan win they come 5th-8th?

This season its sort of a comeback story, can they perform at the season 1 level or crumble again. Way more exciting than seeing some other random team we can't judge off previous results playing. We already get that with Rogue to see if they truly are the up and coming number 1 team of OW.

I agree, how many thought the standings for EU would be as it is right now. It made watching all of the games so interesting just to see how everything was going to turn out.

Misfits being knocked down by eUnited and then knocked out by Dignitas was great to see. (Not because Misfits lost I love Reinforce) but just as a spectator it led to everything going up in the air.

PIT NA was good as well but I think slightly less of an upset.

To be fair to AF Red, Flash lux are barely hanging in there. The scoreline doesn't reflect how close the maps are.

Can't wait to watch FaZe have a completely different hero pool to all the other days. I'm so glad we get to view their scrims.

Ping difference plays into the hand offs. That's why it's so noticeable although Jamerson does seem to get a bit more pre-occupied with other things.

Also it's not that surprising of a result honestly. eUnited have been looking strong for a while and were one of these top teams Misfits had to face coming back into EU after their stint in Korea ended and AFAIK in scrims they were taking a beating but adapting fast. Only fair to assume eUnited were at the very least on Misfits level if not better. Hopefully we see Misfits climb the lower bracket into a Misfits v eUnited grand final.

Ryb for me was by far the standout C9 player in Korea. But hey Clown9 never ceases to amaze with their decision making. I'm sure replacing 1/3 of your team with Koreans and moving a dps player to tank is the answer.

Yeah they had masters + gm teams last season AFAIK which are still low level really compared to teams that actually practice without considering semi pro + pro. They just don't do anything for the pro scene. So it's a good way to ease your way in.

And for example I'm making a team with some friends mixed from GM -> Gold on our ranks. So it's another way to play with your friends too.

Not sure how relevant this is to this forum but it might be.

Overwatch University signups for Season 2 has begin.

What is Overwatch University you ask?

It's basically a tournament for anybody that want to get a taster of REAL competitive overwatch, not that ladder climbing content. for all skill levels. The admins feed you into a division with other people matched with your teams average skill level and then you play for a few weeks and compete once a week.

It's pretty neat and a nice way to get into things.

You also can signup as one person or a small group of people if you don't have 6 and you will be put into their LFT/LFP list as well as a final draft on the last day of signups to put you into a 6 man that matches your schedule and skill level.

For NA + EU.

I'll leave a link to their subreddit here where they have all the information you need

Envy hadn't practiced until Taimou got to NA which was only the other day. Also Taimou has been quite open about his dislike for sitting in a hotel for 3 months. Doubtful they want to go again.

I think Overwatch University league is probably more suited for that level. They can match you into a 6 man so you can participate or you can try and find a team yourself over there. I LOVE it when Cloud 9 makes a new roster because it makes the previous roster and all of its fans so obviously wrong. I'm not sure why but each version of C9 we've had so far, the fans have been like "THIS IS THE BEST ROSTER YET OMG GO NA" but they still don't deliver. They had some decent online results I think before MLG where they had a underwhelming performance and again in Korea really underwhelming.

I just can't wait until C9 gets some good online results to please its fanbase once again and then crumble at lan.

The way they seem to structure their team is sort of like building a puzzle. Except they don't know what the final picture looks like, nor do they know what pieces they need. But they'll happily throw a tantrum after bad results and kick everybody off the team and rebuild.

At this point in time I really don't think its worth starting from scratch and they should practice with what they have. It always looked like they had the synergy, just decision making was a little off. You can teach better decision making, synergy is more difficult to get however.

Not to mention his games recently in PIT he has had some stellar matches and even when his team hasn't Clock has been far from missing for the team. People just need to stop dumpstering on players and realise its a team effort. As said multiple times since Vegas NRG just didn't work together. The talent was there on every player, it just didn't mesh.

As long as Clockwork has the drive he'll be a top dps for sure.
