I didn't think Taimou himself was performing poorly, but I thought some of the hero picks were certainly questionable.
pretty sure TBD has got this in the bag, 4-0.
in all seriousness is this a bo5? i'd be surprised if it was
edit: updated to be a bo7 now
C9 LET'S GOOOO
come on C9 I believe in you
EnVyUs 3-0 FNRGFE
FaZe 3-0 eV
Miraculous Youngster getting to rumble with some of Korea's titans will be insanely interesting. I have high hopes for them, they've looked great in China and I don't think they're far behind Korea either.
we get it you're a troll go away
I love how I got told that "my statement was contradictory to the facts" when I said I didn't think WhoRU was as good as he used to be. I still think it's pretty true, if you look at the game here the main problem was lack of any solid DPS from Lunatic-Hai.
FaZe 3-0
EnVy 3-0, not to say it won't be close on certain maps.
ROX Orcas wash up seems like a pretty good title pun.
Gonna have to agree with #3 and call the LH 3-1. As I stated on the game vs X6, Lunatic-Hai has struggled game to game in the past but they never seem to genuinely fade away. I still expect good things out of them this season.
Well played by the Foxes.
I would guess 3-1 or 3-2 LWR this time around. Think they'll be slightly more ready for them this time, also think they've just generally looked slightly better as a team. Should be close anyways, definitely rooting for the Foxes to take it.
I just don't think WhoRU fits in with Lunatic-Hai and the meta anymore. Genji is getting less meta and honestly WhoRU hasn't looked good enough compared to others in terms of other DPS heroes. He's a great player and all, but I just don't see it working anymore.
3-2 LWR probably? hoping for some poggers from my boys at conbox
Hard to tell but honestly I'd have to side with history and call an LH 3-0. They've dropped games in the past but they never seem to fade off. Could be wrong this time tho, who knows
FaZe 3-1
Unfortunate for the Foxes, but I can't see this being anything besides a 3-0 or the slim chance of a 3-1 for KDP.
edit: I guess it's "C9KD" now lol
Rogue has been subpar when they were playing out of their game house on high ping, and has looked better since coming back home. You're the one not thinking about it much lmfao
EnVy 3-1, think this should be their biggest challenge yet though.
EnVyUs's Control Center stage is insane. They were practically spawn camping for the majority of the round, even with EnVision specifically playing a team comp to try and match the junkrat strategy.
Pretty sure he said FNRGFE was second strongest, but I was really sleepy watching that stream so I might be wrong. Regardless, we'll see won't we? :)
Said it on stream.
EnVy 4-0 I think, siding with Taimou's opinion that FNRGFE is the second strongest currently in Contenders. EnVision is strong regardless and it'll be interesting to see these matchups in playoffs.
I believe it's not mathematically impossible, but with the way they've looked I would give up all hope at this point honestly.
Kungarna is getting decimated.
Why would FNRGFE take EnVy to Volskaya and not Hanamura??
RunAway 3-1, let's go boys
Rogue 3-1, Kungarna has looked disoriented in recent weeks and certainly has not been playing to their fullest potential. Rogue hasn't looked particularly impressive either, but I think their DPS are just a generally stronger duo that than of Kungarna.
3-1 EnVy, FNRGFE taking Hanamura off of them, as #2 said EnVy has still looked shaky on Hanamura, specifically on the defensive side. Otherwise I see this being a pretty clean sweep from them.
FNRGFE 3-1
This has been a smacking from EnVision and a parade of feeding from Kungarna.
EFFECT's Doomfist has looked horribly weak today. His Tracer has been good as usual but every time the Doomfist comes out everything just starts to crumble honestly.
edit: has looked far better here on Dorado.
What are these comps that EnVy is playing? Rein/Winston????
EnVy is known for being weak to Pharmercy, and that map is known for being likely the best Pharmercy map in the game. Nothing new -- additionally, I think EnVy just needed a few minutes to warm up and start playing their best.
I'll go big and call a FaZe 4-0, but by no means do I think this one won't be at least kinda close in the end.
BlessRNG
EnVision will show up in standard EnVision fashion -- that being a 3-1 over Kungarna. Really excited to see them in Contenders and beyond, love me a good underdog story.
No no no no no, you're blinded by "probability" and "logic" my friend. RNG will win 4-0 without a shadow of a doubt, because they believe (in the heart of the cards).
That being said, you have to admit his tracking on the Lucio in the EG vs Kungarna game was sketchy. The rest of the clip looked legit but the way he locked on to the Lucio and then changed targets onto the D. Va is just.. weird. I can't tell you for sure if he's a hacker or not, just thought it was something worthing sharing with you boys
LUL poor Renegades.
In light of Corey playing again, I thought this thread was worth linking

Take what you will from it, just thought I'd pop it in here for consideration ¯_(ツ)_/¯
FaZe 4-0, almost no doubt on this one.
Called it!
but i literally wasn't watching until after I posted :(
again late but 4-0 gigantti
