Hulk not mentioning Mendo was because of a slip, or does it show there might be some bad beef with him?

One of the teams is named "내 여친 D.VA", which means "My girlfriend D.VA". Fighting for the honour of their Korean waifu!

It bugs me so much that they don't just document every change, I wonder why they leave stuff out of the patch notes.

Playing hitscan and moving in general feels so good man. Thanks obama

What do you mean, did they change anything about it?

It might've made more sense to add falloff to his shurikens to encourage close-quarters combat, which would make sense with his ninja character.

Lúcio's change looks out of laziness to me, like they didn't really know what to do so just copied what they made with Genji. I think he'll still be as relevant competitively, as his aura strenght is still maintained, but now Lúcios will have to be faster when "clutching" an ult just before they die. It's a shame for a more pub style of flanking through walls and fighting tho.

Both changes also mean a buff to Widowmaker who I feel has been a bit underrepresented in the last few tournaments I've watched. I'm also guessing that we'll see a lot less Genji, and Pharah will start being played more because of this.

At least it's nice to see that they care and actually listen to balance feedback.

Really nice writeup. As a newcomer that really wants to make Overwatch my first (decent) try at playing at a professional level, it's really daunting to see players with such deep and succesful eSports careers that are also doing really well in this new game.

I'm hoping to be a match to them in the future.

Is there any graphic setting that offers any slightest or tiniest advantage, as in things are more seen easily, effects or whatever, or is it ok to just play with everything in low?

It looks really cool and really gives depth, but Genji is already getting fame for being a SoloQ hero, his kit seems pretty complete and this doesn't look intentional at all.

I'm 90% sure they will bugfix this.

Poochie#1737 (No Beta)

Got high hopes of practicing and playing this game hard. Add me if you're looking to meet people for some scrim team, preferably for London's timezone hours.

ESL already got a shoutcast project for the game and I'm sure we'll see Go4Overwatch style cups for the game, with weekly prizes and a monthly final.

Another one that will be sure to pick this up is Zotac Cup, they have been doing cups ever since it was all about WC3, SC2 and QuakeLive, but recently they are just focusing in the Blizzard games and I don't know how they'd miss out on this. For Heroes they seem to give 50€ per player so I'd expect 300€ in prize for Overwatch?

I'm expecting other small tourney organizers like Gfnity to also pick this up.

Talking about big leagues, Blizzard will create their own circuit for sure and I'm expecting DreamHack to jump on this. And the Korean eSports Association (KeSPA) has tight relationships with Blizzard and lately promoted really heavily Hearthstone and Heroes in Korea, so I'm sure Overwatch will be the same. And despite popular belief, Koreans love shooter games (the 2nd most player game after LoL is a CS 1.5 clone) so its popularity there will just depend on the business model for PC Cafes.

Soooooo, TL;DR: I would expect 100% ESL, Zotac, DreamHack, KeSPA/OGN.
