Yo this is hype as fuck
I feel like Ajax has improved with each tournament they've played. When NRG took their one map off of C9 in the last tourney, it was Ajax getting the entry frag on C9's soldier that let them cap the first point. When they were playing on Illios, it was really only Ajax who was killing S4's widow. His ults could be better but I feel like there have been less bad sound barriers recently than in previous matches.
Dummy has felt stagnant on the other hand. I'd be much more willing to see where Ajax plateaus than to trash him because he hasn't been up to snuff yet, the kid is getting better each time they play.
The You Guys Get Paid? logo is perfect.
They are releasing vods of the unstreamed games at some point I believe.
They at least have done better.
Feel like that is the kind of thing more tournament experience could help with. Keeping nerves under that pressure and whatnot.
looks like it
Pretty sure many still live far apart from one another. I think there is a 'team house' currently where only Numlocked lives. That being said I don't think their performance would have changed all that much yesterday if they were at LAN.
Even without the bird I'm hype as fuck to see NRG roll out.
Important to note (as this could get unfortunately political) that the City of DC itself is separate from the federal government that resides there. Don't want anyone thinking NRG is Trump's team or something similar.
I think cities sponsoring esports teams is a super interesting development. Very similar to the way physical sports currently work. I don't know how it would manifest further, especially given how often roster changes occur, but it'll be great to find out.
It's also possible they were unable to change their roster for the monthly melee after sending it in. If they set up their roster with a few trialists but then a different person signed before the melee started it would be a little awkward.
I think it's at the end of the month, and either they will have a full team or they will take some prospects to play with them in the melee. idk how the rules for the tournament work though and whether they can change who will be participating if they need to.
Wonder if we will hear about the other signings anytime soon.
Jeez the spawn camp
I agree. Just because they won doesn't meant that they need to keep the sub, but asking right after a win is really making it a loaded question.
I'm going to need more emotion out of you
This just in: It's gonna be tough.
Well time to see just how much NRG improved since yesterday.
I can only imagine to distract her so she didn't eat Seagull's ult, while building his own ult more easily. Also their individual callouts might be telling the team to dps certain players.
I'm worried NRG is going to be full held on the first point.
edit: phew
Ugh don't think they needed to use those ults
Taimou absolutely clinical with those hooks on the last round of Nepal.
And NRG isn't strong against a 4-tank set up. I'm hoping for a close match but I'm not expecting much out of NRG here.
A little surprised they didn't take a single map, but I didn't have high expectations give the recent roster switches.
