Looking forward to some sick boopage.
Not surprised you'd think that. Selfless would probably struggle a bit in Korea. They're a great team but rely too much on mechanical execution and sheer aggression. The top Korean teams adapt too well and have better coordination. I would like to see what they do against a top tier low-ping Genji too. Maybe next season.
RunAway still have so much talent money in the bank that I don't think they'll be resting on their laurels for long.
There is no indication so far that Selly attempted any sort of coup.
Investigative journalism at its finest. :]
Good summary of a scene I haven't kept up with. I hope they are successful in expanding it.
Hard to explore OWL without a team.
"I’m not gonna point fingers or name names, but it was incredibly frustrating. And then at about that time when we got out of League of Legends, it was getting so expensive to be competitive in the scene and to even buy your way in the scene. People were already starting to pay mid-six figures for spots at that time, and we just didn’t have the cash flow. Hindsight being 20/20, I would have dropped other divisions and gone really gung-ho on League of Legends because had I known it was going to be as successful as it turned out to be, we would have prioritized it much more than we did."
Not OWL's fault really. Good article on the struggle smaller orgs face.

I think ZP went for a swim.

Can't feel too bad if it takes Shake to replace you.
Shake PogChamp
Plenty of meming going on in the slave quarters.
All we can hope is that Blizzard Esports has good stuff in the wings for us. Two years from now the tournament rotation should be pretty routine. These are the startup pains.
I don't believe it!
Also, last Monthly Melee. :candle:
Still waiting for Meta Athena to move to Seattle for Overwatch League.
Really fun article, it's going to be interesting to see how it actually pans out for each country.

Has to get first reply to his own post.
Great job, Spotlight!
I'm so excited!
The best part of this is that it's true.
LUI
Got my fingers crossed.
Whomever doesn't get smoked here will get rolled by CLG anyway.
You only get a full star if you can take on hafficool.
They haven't played competitively at all in the past 4 months.
gg I guess
He said Monday on Discord.
OGN is just afraid to invite Laser Kittenz. They'd show midtier Kr teams that they're still mid tier Kr teams. After all, Koreans are actually really overrated.
I think Seagull is being smart. The streaming hours are better, the money is enormously better, and the only whale in the puddle of nickel-and-dime tournaments is APEX. APEX requires months of commitment, being cooped up in a hotel room practicing 10 hours a day, and a scant chance of winning. It makes a lot of sense to take a break, enjoy life, make money, relieve burnout, and come back fresh for the real deal for Western players. And if for some reason pro gaming doesn't work out he's already got a nice start on a college or house fund.
CLG played well though. Nice match.
Petition to remove ADHD from the game.
If Liquid dies here, it's still a hero's death.
Don't bring that tired meme here.
Haircuts incoming
I would like to report an admin.
Realistically, with Mendo and Ryb AWOL, C9 have 4 players right now. It's to be expected that they'd do roster experimentation. Particularly now that they have in Bishop a language and strategic bridge with Korea.
Harry's big on the potential PogChamp/huge throw plays though.
The time left over is from the initial round.
ChipSa subbed in for fischer after the first half of Hollywood because of internet issues.
Heh, so realizing this, Meta Athena have subbed in Alpha for Changsik (their normal main tank) to not be perceived as having an advantage.
Janus being hospitalized is a big blow. Hope roar can perform well. Sucks either way for Meta Athena because if they win they won't get full credit, and if they lose they get criticism for losing to a crippled team.
head vs heart
1-hour hypetrain!
IMT have been working on their strats.
Rogue won winner bracket so they start with a 1-win advantage.
Pretty silly matchup pingwise tbh.
You guys take trash talk way too seriously.
