It looks like they had problems throughout the year with that duo allegedly not wanting to play together. I'm guessing that attitude doesn't fit within the Boston vision.
It looks like it's still split per region, so they should be about the same as they are now. But I think this format is much better.
Talon coming through and showing what they're the real deal.
Well, with the exception that KR players have also been going to NA and PAC, and a few cases in AUS (probably making those regions stronger anyways) without it costing KR much since they only have 8 team spots.
Small addition to the argument that still supports what you mentioned.
What are the chances they're looking at Note?
I guess you give Blizz more credit than I do in this case.

"Yeah i've realized that i love that game too much in a team i was fucking mad at ranked specially since i cant play solo soo lets say my last tweet didn't exist : ONE LAST RIDE BOYS"
Right but Esports careers tend to be short, and putting in as much effort as they do doesn't seem to be worth it if their desire to play the game, their passion, is gone. This isn't even unique to Esports, in many other sports you have players that retire because the grind just isn't worth it to them, and no amount of money would have changed it for some.
I don't know if this is specifically what Asking is going through, but I'm just pointing out that a shiny new contract in the big leagues may not be enough to want to keep the grind going if you've lost the passion to play the game.
Examples of players that got what you mentioned and still lost passion for the game. I'm saying $$ and playing in the top league aren't always the answer to players not enjoying the game as much?
Tell that to Birdring and other players that played in OWL but still lost passion for the game.
Loss of passions aren't often remedied by getting traded though.
I understood, just wondering why they were surprised at this point.

I guess the coaches are signed under KSE, so things might be a bit more complicated than it seems.
AFAIK both are still with the GLA but are allowed to look for other opportunities. Feel free to correct me if that's incorrect, but I don't think either has left the Org as of yet.
Let me preface this by saying that I'm 500% rooting for VAN to win...
But holy fuck do SFS look scary. They lost one match then absolutely shit on the rest of the teams. They took down team that VAN barely beat and just bitch slapped them right out of the playoffs.
I'll be praying that I'm dead wrong in my gut feeling and that VAN pull off what I can only call as an upset at this point. Anyhow, my pred (that I hope VAN boom):
VAN 2-4 SFS
I'm really worried that HZS might get rolled on maps where they can't use Doom. Even then, SFS's are looking hella scary. tbh I wouldn't be terribly surprised if HZS only managed one map win, or possibly even none.
Not gonna lie though, I will be rooting for them nonetheless.
HZS 2-4 SFS
Did I say 5%? I actually meant 95%, never doubted for a second. Now please excuse me while I go change my underwear.
We, the north.
They got to play in what was by far the weaker division. Not to take anything away from their record but teams like VAN and SFS had to battle it out against stronger opponents for most of the year and still came out on top.
NYXL "deserves" nothing until they earn it. They prove the naysayers wrong the only way possible: by winning. Until that happens they'll remain the team that does well during the regular season but that can't stand up to the moment when the chips are down and the dicks are on the table.
Also, what you just said would probably make from another good copy/pasta, specially the Florida part.
Nah, they looked like they didn't know how to play the meta since pretty much stage 4. So "should have won" isn't something I'd remotely associate with their playoff performance last year. Their play dictated where they ended the playoffs.
ATL 3-4 HZS
GLA 2-4 SFS
Both teams looking solid, bout 5% confidence in this but...
VAN 4-3 NYXL
Fits, Fleta and Marve1 got comprehensively schooled.
NYXL 4-3 ATL
VAN 4-2 GLA
LON 1-4 SFS
SEO 4-3 HZS
Edit: down voting preds...LUL.
You would have found out of the Glads lost or not either way right?
Hm, picking VAN to 4-0 vs SEO over SFS vs ATL, bold choice indeed.
SFS 4-1 ATL
HZS 2-4 LAG
NYXL 2-4 LON
Corey, Dding and Kariv are the only names that I think have no business being on this list given their entire season. In my honest opinion. All the others I can make cases for, even if some would be relatively weak.
Rascal's Bap, Mei and Pharah have been extremely impactful. Corey literally had one stage while Rascal was more effective throughout most of the season.
I personally can't see why they gave him the award over a player that was just better for all but one stage. And even then, it's not like Rascal fell off a cliff in Stage 4 either.
it seems there were technical issues with Numbani, so they allowed them to play KR again.
"Klaus has confirmed that he will be taking a break from the game."
Should be a win for London, Atlanta didnt play any strong team this stage
hindsight is 20/20. don't think the comment was incorrect at the time.
Shrug, those happen in sports in general.
Again, depends on what their model and goal for their Academy team is.
Depends on what their model and goal is the Academy I guess.
