Yeah, they do have that going for them, haha.
The bit following is TL;DR material, but in short I agree and I'll just say pretty much everything you said with an added point of Gesture needing a consistent team lineup.
Every position they always have the best (supports are undisputable), or at least top 2/3 in every position. Libero is number 1 right now in his position, based off the last few weeks. You can make a argument for Tracer since that's close but SSB is king until otherwise. Tanks wise, apart from Fissure doing Fissure things you wouldn't pick anyone else over Meko or Mano right now. Gesture needs to play with a consistent team. Can't keep changing supports and offtank all the time, doesn't help him at all I can imagine.
Anyway!
I love how NYXL that they always emphasise that they concentrate on themselves as well as the opponent. Barring that one Fusion game in Stage 1, which they readily admitted.
Some teams like London tonight, and other teams have done in the past is concentrate on their opponents too much rather than their own game. London seem to think that they can cover all bases with their squad, not evaluate themselves properly and just split the team based whoever they are playing and prepare.
Their doesn't seem to be a real London style, they can do it all but their plays never looked like it had their stamp on it. I never felt they've mastered a comp, even if some of their players are in conversation for Top 3 in their positions and heroes for various comps. They were good enough to beat most teams but some teams are getting better and it's not good enough against NYXL. Maybe having so many players, changing them around all the time and how they prepare is stopping them forging a team identity.
