God damn what an incredible series, proper nail biter towards the end! Not sure how the maps are decided but don't think KoTH was the way to go for NRG given Lunatics track record, still really fun game to watch regardless though.

Latest analysis of Rogue vs Lunatic-Hai is up http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2hv-kjwRUt0&t=1m14s this time shorter and more prepped, hopeful easier to digest.
(admin pls edit title so I don't have to make a new thread every time)
What is that hold by Lunatic-Hai... Nuts.
Hey guys, I'm planning on putting out some "analysis" videos on a regular basis to help develop my own game sense for casting, normally I am a play by play caster but with Overwatch you never know when the pacing might be off and you'll end up doing a bit of analysis so I figured I would work on one of my weakest aspects. Essentially just me going over games played and processing the decisions the teams made, what went wrong/right, you get the gist.
With all that said it would be nice to get some feedback from others who are already knowledgeable and may disagree with the points I make with reasoning.
Mic peaks a few times during the video (mic volume was ramped up for some reason), other than that I hope at least one person finds benefit to the breakdown :)
NRG and Rogues first game is on the 19th so they have time http://program.interest.me/ongamenet/apex/1/Board/View?b_seq=9

Looking forward to hearing Doa and MonteCristo's take on Overwatch casting but also how some of these teams stack up against the West, Korea historically hasn't had the greatest luck in FPS games (with the exception of some old 1.6 teams if I remember correctly) but with Overwatch heavily requiring good communication and strats over raw mechanical aim I'm confident we'll see them turn up.
If Misfits take this its going to be a perfect finish to their story line. Odds stacked against them with all the roster changes, not to take anything from Ryb or Hidan as they've been fantastic, hard to believe they are recent additions to the team given how well Misfits have been playing.
What an end to such a close game, literally dropped everything I was doing to watch that play out.
Jesus what a game
Big names big games, going to be lit
CommanderX getting into OW articles? http://rakueigaku.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/06/EfLPiAfA_B4.jpg
So excited for this, wonder if they're going to talk about their previous game experience as a story line this time. Something tells me probably not ;/

Just clearing some things up: this is LAN, we have a special tournament client. Game just crashed, can't tell you what happened other than that. Game froze and I had to alt tab and close. And yes it was unfortunate because my team almost won the point 5v6 and it took me a good couple of mins to get back in. Doubt it would have changed the outcome overall but for a team just trying to put on a good show and not get rolled, it was pretty frustrating.
Straight from the source
Very surprised at the lack of ESL casters to be honest.
Sweden and Finland dark horses of the tournament, pretty happy with team GB but cannot understand how players like mangachu and azk are not picked
I mean technically its going to be an EU victory either way LUL
Interesting to see EnVy being taken to the ropes here, was wondering when teams would start picking into 2CP maps as pocket strats.
Spend like 5 minutes trying to find when Creation were playing and then realised I am an idiot. Going to be rooting for the Dignitas boys.
Online qualifier casts are tbd from what I understand
Not up to us to pass judgement. Leave it to Blizzard.
Exciting news, all these well established orgs entering Overwatch! Can only mean we get even more competition at the top level.
Hope Drac sorts his Internet out in time
Liking the Oceanic coverage, scene feels a bit unnoticed which is unfair considering the talent. Here's hoping for an international tournament soon so they can show off what they're capable of.
Does this mean NGR are just Northern Gaming now?
Csgo Liquid player Elige to be playing in this one.
Not sure who he's covering for however.
Quitting his job for full time Overwatch is a big risk, hope it works out well for them, they've definitely got the right caliber to go far.
Envy to continue their streak? Or TSM to stop them in their tracks?
Honestly this is huge for the scene, if teams didn't have a reason to scrap for that top spot for whatever reason, they most certainly will now.
Payload not moving back on Kings Row. Will be interesting to see if this makes pushing last much more successful
team with knoxXx, tek, mike when?
Probably one of the last major tournaments before the new patch, will be one to remember.
Started as a sick time for 1SHOT on Gibraltar, honestly thought they had that.
Jeff is the boy, the fact that OW has such an open dev team is like a 180 compared to what people are used to with Blizzard. I Think its easy to think of them as this monolithic company that refuses to budge but they really are a great group of guys and gals.
An odd turn of events, the only good thing we can take from this is whenever there's a creation/rogue game it'll be El classico, always good to have storylines in e-sports but other than that it's a shame to see knoxxx and seb split up.
Sucks for both teams involved really.
Sideshows been smashing the articles recently, good stuff
Bit disappointing being NA only but I can understand where he is coming from with making it region locked.
Any tournaments with a good prize pool are welcome in my book, will be fun to see what the NA teams have been cooking up strategy wise.
Great to see this game getting so much support early on.
H A F F I B O Y S
Was going to comment on how a team with so much raw aiming talent would be able to work together when arguably you have 4 of the 6 roles requiring minimal mechanical skill but it seems you addressed it well.
Here's to another top eu team to contend with the big boys.
Well that was a bit anti climatic
