Mei's freeze mechanic is another movement stopping feature that is soul-crushing for comp FPS. We'll have to see how annoying it actually is. The other 2 look vert interesting, the ability to switch in and out of the Mech suit looks nutty.
These new heroes have me questioning the game core mechanics for the first time. All of them seem every not FPS-like.
I like that defensive mechanics are being added to deal with ranged attacks (Defense Matrix, Reflect, Ice Wall) seeing as Pharah is so strong atm. I feel like Genji should be able to win a duel with Pharah? But yeah, defensive stuff could slow down the pace of the game. D.Va might be really weak if the other team can focus the mechsuit until it is dead.
It's worth noting that Dva has 100 health and 400 armor. Tankiest hero in the game at the moment if you exclude abilities. Probably the one I'm most excited to see in action.
Mei looks like absolute cancer to play against. Probably going to be one of the better defense heroes I think.
Genji looks.... neat.... I guess. IMO the most uninteresting of the new three, but we'll see. I'm glad he's not like Phantom from Dirty Bomb which was what I was afraid of.
Boosters on the mech look like they could be a cool thing.
Ice girl seems cool in that she can boost teammates who don't have movement abilities with the wall, all her other attacks seem really annoying though.
Ninja guy seems like he has some interesting movement mechanics but I guess his throwing star things might do crappy damage?
D'va is pretty broken at the moment. Her armor is so difficult to get down to do any real damage to her.
Mei is pretty funny. I'm not sure why she's placed as a defensive hero though as she's much better in offence. She can create an opaque wall to allow your team to push at an objective and has enough sustain to keep her alive for long periods on an assault.
Genji has a stupidly high skill cap. Honestly if you're looking for that WOW factor, this hero is insane. The only problem I see is that while he will be an awesome pubstar, I can't see him fitting into competitive compositions very often. He's better during chaos.
