The homestand is the first Overwatch League event in Europe that has been affected. Last month, Blizzard cancelled the South Korean matches that included the Seoul homestand and the makeup games for the already-cancelled Chinese homestands.

The move follows the outbreak that has affected thousands worldwide. Earlier this week, the French government banned gatherings of more than a 1,000 people. France has 1,402 cases of the virus and 30 deaths, according to the World Health Organization. WHO also declared the outbreak a global pandemic today.
