Malik “Malik” Forté has announced that he will not return to the Overwatch League this season.
I'm not returning to the OWL broadcast team for 2020, for those who've asked 😢

It's been a long journey with the OW community so it saddens me to say. A HUGE thanks to all the fans, the amazing production crew, my talent team family and most importantly, the players! pic.twitter.com/PCwmllsOYj
Malik has been with the on-air talent team since the inaugural season in 2018, where he joined as a host that season. He was recently a desk analyst in the 2019 season.
Prior to the Overwatch League, he was a reporter in the Overwatch Open in September 2016, and in the 2017 World Cup Katowice & Santa Monica Qualifiers. He was also a writer for Nerdist and the host of eStream on BleacherReport.
Malik is the most recent on-air talent that is not returning to the league this season. Earlier today, Auguste “Semmler” Massonnat announced that he will not return as a full-time caster.
Other members of the broadcast team to leave include three casters and a desk host. The Overwatch League has already added one casting pair, switched two desk members to the casting team and brought in a new desk analyst this offseason.
