The Spark had previously warned and fined Krystal for not returning to the team after his 10-day leave to meet a sick family member had elapsed. According to the player on Weibo, he claimed issues in the visa reapplication process had delayed his return and that he wasn't informed of the company's policy surrounding extending leave.
Since then, however, the supervisor for the Spark, Longduo, contradicted the claims and published a series of other allegations (English translation) against Krystal.
Spanning before the current Overwatch League season began, the allegations included numerous occasions of feigning illness to skip practice, intentionally delaying his arrival to the United States during the preseason, and disrupting the coaches' plans for the team.
Krystal promised to respond to this new set of allegations, but has not done so at the time of writing this article.
Krystal first debuted with team during Stage 2, and had since split time with fellow DPS player Adora during that stage. The team has not fielded Krystal since Stage 3, and will not for this stage either following his indefinite suspension.
