DPS player Attitude (formerly known as ATTITUDE) and coach Hiru will be joining the team, while tank player ATing and assistant coach Niflheim will be leaving the team.

This will not be ATD's first venture into the Chinese scene. In Season 2 of Contenders China 2018, ATD played with Future Group, where the team finished last in their group. He also played with Skyfoxes in the most recent season of Contenders Trials North America, where he helped the team reach Contenders.

ATing joined LGE.Huya just over a month ago in March 2019. Prior to playing with the team, ATing clinched the Contenders Season 3 2018 Pacific championship trophy with Hong Kong Attitude. However, he never played a map with LGE.Huya in Contenders China, as fellow main tank JeungMac saw all the playtime. He joins ShaiuLin as HKA alumni who are currently free agents.

LGE.Huya will also see a shakeup in the coaching department. Hiru will be joining the team, while Niflheim will be departing. Hiru previously coached PHOENiX to a semifinals finish in Contenders Pacific Season 3 2018. He has previously worked with LGE.Huya's off-tank player Piggy, who played on PHOENiX. Meanwhile, Niflheim leaves LGE.Huya after coaching them to a quarterfinals finish in the previous season of Contenders China. He will be replaced by Dokkaebi, who was formerly the team's translator and team leader.

LGE.Huya finished the regular season of Contenders China with an undefeated record in their group and taking the first seed. They will be playing their quarterfinals match against Triple Six Legend.
