The news marks the second series of changes for the Gladiators after the conclusion of the Overwatch League’s inaugural season, where they placed fourth in the regular season standings but were eliminated in the playoffs by eventual champions London Spitfire. They previously transferred Fissure over to the Seoul Dynasty earlier this month.
iReMiix was part of the Gladiators’ initial reveal and competed throughout all of Stage 1. His role was taken over by Fissure at the beginning of Stage 2, and only saw play in a single match in both Stages 3 and 4. Despite his lack of playing time previously, he played all of the team’s playoff maps.
Asher was also in the Gladiators' reveal, where he played throughout the majority of Stages 1 through 3. His last match with the team was at the beginning of Stage 4 as Surefour and Hydration took over the role of DPS.
silkthread was signed onto the Gladiators from the Los Angeles Valiant before the beginning of Stage 3. He played four matches in Stage 3, two in Stage 4 and all of the playoffs.
