Collegiate esports is on the rise in North America. Just last March, the University of California, Irvine became the first public university to offer esports scholarships. This follows Blizzard's popular Heroes of the Dorm series which offered $500,000 in scholarships and was broadcast on ESPN.
Tespa is a network of over 150 college esports clubs working to grow collegiate esports across North America.
