As you may know Overwatch Open Division Season 4 will have 5 weeks if game with 2 games a week. Its not really clear how to make it throught trials but you have to place high (top 8 goes for Playoffs finals). I will try to make each week a recap of the most important matches and roster changing. I will be more focused on EU since my knowledge of NA is not at his peak.
Most important results of week 1( Round 1 and 2) :
- Those Guys 3-0 Eagle Gaming: Forfeit for the french. They actually have a Contenders slot. One less for the cruent massacre also knowed as Open Division.
- Jigsaw 3-0 ENCE esports: What could be more sweet for a Scandinavian if not beat another Scandinavian? The new Norway add to the team probably have a good day beating their finnish cousins
- Dose 3-0 Portal Of Gaming: Change of players for POG who probably hurts their preparation in front of this game. But Dose seem a little too much for them anyway. Hidan and BenBest are here to win
- Black Phoenix 3-0 #RAKIDUSHAT: Eu East T2 scene is far from the west one but they could improve. Anyway the italian team make a good win here.
- Untitled 3-0 Black Phoenix: the french Kyb is always hero to lead a team of unknowed players to the T2 glory. Dont understimate him.
- FC Lathi Menace 3-1 Samsung Morning Stars Blue: adding DNCE and Zave is great power up for SMSB but they need to improve their coordination. First big win for the finnish Football(soccer) esports team.
Roster changing and adjustments from this thread:
- Mosaic: Luddee out Dennia in, due to contract issue Mosaic replaces Luddee with the former 123 and Penta main support Dennia. He was actually one of the best main support FA and Mosaic, even if losing Luddee who were their main shootcaller, had take a great player.
- Squid12324: MickeyA in, only a sub or something more? Since Sharp has showed great ability with the tracer MickeyA could probably be their other hitscan main. In each case they has one of the best dps( as showed on Contenders Lan stage) awaible.
- Those Guys: cNRKz is probably their unannounced projectile player. From Team expert and Team Germany is without doubts a great pick up
- Jigsaw: Rubikon, matth, Bromas out, IPN and Invision in. From Norway with love here two big add for the team
- Black Phoenix: no roster change for them, but still a great news since they have been acquired by Samsung creating the Samsung Morning Stars Black team who will be brother to the old roster now called Samsung Morning Stars Blue.
- Dose: Ube in. Underrated and mistreated( from a caster) projectile player ready for his revenge: fear him and this team that seems even more stacked now with a T1/1.5 in at least 3 different postion.
- STRANGLEMENT : change name into Piece of Cake adding one of the best oompaloompass Chubz's teammates( along with Fae) drido. A 15yo boy really talented on flex supp. With him enter the team also the danish player naGGa really knowed in the T2 scene. Linepro exit the team.
- Portal Of Gaming: Rubikon, matth and Kevster in. While Rubikon and matth are proved good players, kevster could be a jolly for them: a player who is making his name in the T2 scene and his ready to go on another level.( also the right team was the second one)
- Samsung Morning Stars Blue: in Zave( former Misfits) and DNCE( former Kong Doo Uncia). Big add for them now they can really hope in big archievement.
- cMonbruh: Cerys in. He was the main tank from italian national team.
- Wind and Rain: Pagh out and he goes to nerf pharah plOx.
- Eagle Gaming: they drop out of the competition. Rumors said they actually have a Contenders spot.
