I saw something on reddit about over.gg being denied passes to the World Cup, and I presume this will likely continue into the OWL. Is Blizzard trying to start their own website to be the official Overwatch eSports hub? I could see why they would want to, but trying their best to divert attention from other websites that have helped grow the scene so much is stupid and just plain ol' rude. I'll of course use whatever site or app they end up making, but the first page I'll always come to for Overwatch is right here, and that's never changing.

That's a pretty far fetched speculation for a reddit post, not gonna lie.

Assumptions and speculation is great, if you're looking to be as useful as Reddit, but more concrete information is needed to make a realistic and informed judgement call.

Hopefully over.gg gets allowed a pass in the future but it's a tad early for conspiracy theories, imo.

Hopefully this development does not affect the supply of puns.

nothing blizzard makes would be as shitpost friendly as over.gg, i think over.gg is pretty safe

Just wanna post some appreciation. This site has NO ADS but yet the event description patches are rich with intuitive detail, the matches themselves are updated as often as you could ever hope for, the streamers feature is invaluable and the information provided by insiders is frequent. We're lucky to get the insiders perspective from not only pros themselves but the casters and a lot of other insiders like Harsha. It's also clear that Enigma puts a lot of effort together to continue updating the site which is incredible cause again NO ADS!

And a pretty cool community too that is at least willing to have some discussion even when we don't agree with each other!
