When the formation of LFTOWL was announced, it was noted the roster contained a former player and coach of the long-time kings of South American Overwatch, Brasil Gaming House. Since then, flex support player kolero has also stepped down from the BGH roster (and has since joined LFTOWL), as well as another coach for the team, baba1u.
Last week kolero announced his departure from BGH in a Twitlonger where he also revealed that the team intended to move abroad. Those plans conflicted with his own desires to stay in Brazil for the time being and wanting to avoid causing a conflict for the team, he chose to step down.
The team's former coach, Insanityz, who was one of the first to depart along with flex player murizzz, had similar reasons for his departure, wanting to stay in Brazil for personal reasons. At the time of writing, murizzz and baba1u had not shared their own reasons for leaving the team.
Insanityz also specified on where his former team plans to go. According to him, the team is planning to move to North America as soon as possible, and is currently looking for sponsors to do so. As a result, the team wants to field a line-up that is ready to move to North America at any time, something Insanityz was not ready to commit to.
Brasil Gaming House has been quick to find replacements for the departed players and coaches. Immediately after the announcement of LFTOWL, it was announced former Keep Gaming flex honorato would be replacing murizzz at the same role. Since then, the team has signed dehzinho at the flex support role and TMATTEI at coach. The team played in the Grand Finals of the South American Overwatch Circuit and in the Hammer Down Cup with the new roster, but were undone by another team that has expressed a desire to relocate abroad, Argentina’s KARMA, in the finals of both tournaments.
The roster of Brasil Gaming House is now:
- Eduardo "dudu" Macedo (DPS)
- Felipe "liko" Lebrao (DPS)
- Maurício "honorato" Honorato (Flex)
- Mateus "neil" Kröber (Tank)
- André "dehzinho" Pereira (Support)
- Renan "alemao" Moretto (Support)
- Jonathan "TMATTEI" Mattei (Coach)
UPDATE: murizzz spoke of his reason to leave BGH. He had been losing motivation to play, especially with the hero pool he had to play as the flex of the team. He decided it was better to move to a new team where he wouldn't have to commit to playing as much as he did on BGH and where he could play DPS.
