Is it a good idea to merge Rogue and France, as well as other World Cup teams that have sent an entire squad? The rankings are not really accurate, but what would be the result if they were merged and ELOs were recalculated/re-simulated?
There would be 0 confusion. Rogue can just be renamed to Rogue/France, Flash Wolves to Flash Wolves/Taiwan, etc.
It's okay for the World Cup rankings to be inaccurate because there are such little samples of games. Wouldn't that be right?
I just want to see how the rankings overall would look if the games were resimulated.
If you want to know what they'd look like just run the numbers they gained/lost in the WC region and add/subtract them from their respective teams.
They're split because Rogue is France and BLANK is Australia when in the world cup and I believe it should not affect their regional rankings.
It could have been an option if every single OWC team was a full squad but otherwise it skews data for no obvious benefit, imo.
