Update: Due to a translation mishap, we originally misreported that EscA was out of the team. As we now understand it Koreans are referring the new slot as the "seven man", which is apparently going to be a role filled by both claris and Munchkin. So for the time being it seems EscA will retain his position on the starting six.
OGN APEX Season 2 champions Lunatic-Hai have finally announced what their roster will look like for the upcoming OGN APEX Season 3. Given their incredibly strong performance, expect nothing but the best from the new and improved seven man roster.
After much speculation Lunatic-Hai have announced the arrival of two reinforcements for their longstanding DPS player EscA who had been considering retirement before the Season 2 Grand Final. Joining as free agents, Munchkin and claris both step in to the roster having previously played together on Rhinos Gaming Titan before they disbanded two weeks ago.
OGN have made a new ruling for APEX Season 3 that allows teams to rotate one player out during a series, spurring on many of Korea's top teams to expand their rosters to meet the new eight player maximum squad size.
The active Lunatic-Hai roster is now:
- Kim "zunba" Joon Hyuk (Flex)
- Lee "Whoru" Seung Joon (DPS)
- Gong "Miro" Jin Hyuk (Tank)
- Ryu "ryujehong" Je Hong (Support)
- Yang "tobi" Jin Mo (Support)
- Kim "EscA" In Jae (DPS)
- Lee "claris" Keon-Ho (DPS)
- Byeon "Munchkin" Sang-Beom (DPS)
The newly reformed roster will be competing in the upcoming OGN APEX Season 3 where are set to play the opening match on April 28th against a Kongdoo Panthera side who have also announced recent roster changes.
