have acquired five new players ahead of the next season of Contenders. This comes after four players left the team in September.
The new acquisitions are ShawnOFF , Stylo , Kyo , Nitro and dehzinho . They will play alongside the team's sole pre-existing player, Wetter .
dehzinho may be the most well-known of the team's new players, having previously played for two-time Contenders South America champions Brasil Gaming House. Nitro will be returning to Black Dragons after last playing for the organization in Contenders Season 1.
Two other additions will also be making their return to Contenders South America after not playing in Season 2. ShawnOFF last played for Keyd Stars in Season 1. Kyo last played for Just W in Season 1, a team that was later picked up by Black Dragons e-Sports.
The organization's last addition is Stylo, who played for paiN Gaming in both Contenders Season 1 and Contenders Season 2. He qualified for the playoffs with the team in both seasons.
They join Wetter, who recently was chosen to represent Brazil in the Los Angeles Group Stage of the Overwatch World Cup. In fact, he was one of only two players from outside of Brasil Gaming House to play for the national squad. The other was former Black Dragons support ole.
Three players on the roster will act as flexes for the team, switching roles as necessary. Those three will be Stylo, ShawnOFF and Wetter.
They have a guaranteed spot in Contenders Season 3. That season begins in November.
