With less than a day to go before the $9500 ASUS ROG Summer 2017 tournament kicks off in Helsinki, Finland comes news of another all-Finn team acquisition - Rest in Pyjamas are now Team Gigantti.

Gigantti are a nationwide home electronics retailer in Finland taking their first steps in to the world of esports by signing the country's #1 Overwatch team. Apart from the above tweet, no official statement has yet been released regarding their esports plans.
Securing a new sponsor marks the end of a turbulent six week period for the roster since they were dropped during Ninjas in Pyjamas exit from Overwatch. The future of the team had been up in the air with ongoing roster experiments producing unpredictable performances in Contenders Season Zero. However, they managed to stabilize in time to qualify for Season 1, changing out 3 players in the process including the recent addition of former Alfa Squad DPS, BigG00se, in the Lucio role.
The Team Gigantti roster is:
- Tuomo "Davin" Leppänen (DPS)
- Jiri "LiNkzr" Masalin (DPS)
- Joonas "zappis" Alakurtti (Flex)
- Joona "Fragi" Laine (Tank)
- Aleksi "zuppehw" Kuntsi (Support)
- Benjamin "BigG00se" Isohanni (Support)
- Jani "Seita" Paavola (Coach)
