You decide the order of who attacks or defends first on the maps you pick but yes you're right. Perhaps not a significant advantage overall but it lets Blank choose what Assault map they play on. As far as I can remember they've pretty much lost Anubis or Hanamura every time against AHQ or FW, whilst generally performing better on Volskaya
