As seen in their game this morning against RunAway, new player IDK has joined Afreeca Freecs Blue to play Lucio support for the team. The team has also brought in lucid, formerly of Kongdoo Uncia, to join with IDK on the support heroes. These two new players have replaced Adam and AMON, with former support MANO moving to a main tank position.

Interestingly, AF.Blue have decided not to make use of an eight-man roster for this season of APEX. OGN’s rules changed for APEX Season 3 to allow minor switching of starting rosters during series, prompting many Korean teams - and foreign team EnVyUs - to experiment with new additions to the team. TaiRong, head coach of Afreeca Freecs has confirmed to over.gg that Adam and AMON will not be remaining with the team as tactical substitutes.
While AF.Blue stays with their fixed six-player roster in the premier league, AF.Red in Challenger are trialling Adam on the coaching role. The team was knocked out of Super Week along with MVP Infinity after being crushed in APEX S2, and have time to develop and lick their wounds before making a return.
The APEX Season 3 Afreeca Freecs Blue roster is:
- Jeong "ArHaN" Weon-hyeop (DPS)
- Jeong "Recry" Taek-hyun (DPS)
- Bae "DongHyun" Dong-hyun (Flex)
- Kim "Mano" Dong-gyu (Tank)
- Yoo "lucid" Jun-seo (Support)
- Park "IDK" Ho-jin (Support)
- Kim "TaiRong" Tae-yeong (Coach)
