There is a PS4 overwatch tournament going on right now and it literally looks like slow motion, most of them are using the built in aim assist as well https://www.twitch.tv/theoverguard

Does anyone else find it kind of stupid to try and force a console game to be an esport if its already established on PC?

Its not stupid, COD Bo2 had also esports in PC and people didnt keep it stupid even when pricepools were way lower than on console.

Thats different. CoD has been console oriented for a long time. And they also didn't compete with a built in aimbot

Well its not aimbot. CoD has same kind of lock to hitbox thingy in several of their games.

You guys should be happy instead negative that Overwatch has found ''eSport'' in Console as well.

But they dont use it in competitive CoD. Trying to pass something off as competition and using aim assist just doesnt seem right

Well, sharp aiming on controller is hard, thats why multiple people get accused of using MnK if they sharp aim even a bit
