have welcomed DPS player
zYKK
to their ranks as a full time player following the conclusion of his 14-day contract.
We welcomed him temporarily a few weeks ago, & now we welcome him permanently! We're excited to announce that @zYKK_ is joining the Defiant full-time! 🎉 #RiseTogether pic.twitter.com/KITXMKzJFd

During his two-week initiation period with the Defiant, zYKK made appearances in the team's last 4 games against the Titans and Reign. Out of those matches, he played in 12 out of the 14 total maps played.
The last time the Defiant were in the news was when former general manager Jae announced his retirement from esports. However, that is not the only staff change the team has gone through. At the beginning of the month, numlocked was announced as an addition to the team as a tank coach, but later joined the team as the team's second main tank player alongside Beast.
The Defiant's next match will pit them against the Fuel on the 27th. They are currently ranked 15th in the overall league standings.
