, has announced his retirement from Overwatch.
— HyP (@HyP_ow) April 2, 2020
Hyp was one of six players to remain with the Paris Eternal roster as the team underwent a rebuild over the offseason. He had played in all six of the Paris Eternal's matches to this point in the season.
His departure leaves the team with 11 players and one flex support, that being Greyy. The Eternal had a full roster with at least one player at every position prior to Hyp's departure.
Hyp made his name as a member of GamersOrigin in 2016 and 2017 before joining Eagle Gaming for Contenders in 2018. He was signed by the Paris Eternal, then a brand new expansion team, over the offseason following the 2018 season.
The Eternal will play their first match without Hyp today when they take on the Houston Outlaws.
