Both players joined the team to start the new year. The Rebellion made these drops shortly before it began play in Contenders Trials earlier today and after the team failed to make it into the first week of Contenders, which was played last week.

Tanner played in just one match for the Rebellion: their ill-fated 3-2 loss against the Saints in the first week of Trials.

Chayne, on the other hand, was a starter for the Rebellion and on his second stint with the team. He first played for the Rebellion between February and April of last year.

The Rebellion have not officially revealed their new main tank player. The team does not need to add another DPS player to replace Tanner because they already have two DPS players.

The Rebellion won both of their Contenders Trials matches today.They play against Triumph in their next Trials match later this week.
