Mobydik joined the Defiant in July as a midseason addition to the team's coaching staff. At the time he joined, the Defiant were in the midst of a disastrous second half of the season in which they managed just one win.
The Defiant currently have just two coaches on their staff: head coach Féfé and assistant coach Barroi. Féfé became the team's head coach earlier this month. Barroi is the only remaining coach from the team's 2019 staff.
