The four players were the Uprising's only four subject to a team option. They now join Kellex and AimGod as Uprising players who are now free agents.
The Uprising now have just four players on their roster: DPS players colourHex and blasé and main tank players Fusions and Axxiom.
Three of the four, all but alemao, were midseason acquisitions for the Uprising. They traded NotE for rCk after Stage 1, added Persia a day later and signed Stellar after Stage 3.
The three saw a mix of playtime throughout the season. rCk was benched in favor of blasé, traditionally a DPS player, at off-tank in Stage 4. At the same time, Persia found himself with more playtime and Stellar found room in the lineup with blasé no longer on DPS.
alemao, on the other hand, saw little playtime throughout the season and only made it into four matches. He was the only player from Contenders South America in the Overwatch League.
The departures of these four players is the first major move to the Uprising's roster this offseason. The team has been active thus far in the offseason nonetheless as they have made several changes to their coaching staff.
