This announcement comes after Teetawat was announced to be joining the team on the GIANT LYNX facebook page earlier in the month. However, it was only recently that Teetawat officially announced he was joining Uprising Academy on twitter following words of praise from the academy's general manager AndrewKendo.
Kolsti joins the team after leaving One.PoinT at the beginning of the month, while MirroR was previously a part of the late NRG Esports roster that disbanded shortly after Kolsti left his former team. Prior to his time on NRG, MirroR was a part of the One.PoinT roster, but has only played in two matches with the team.
Uprising Academy placed last in the most recent Contenders season, meaning that the team must earn back their spot in Contenders through Contenders Trials.
For North America, Trials competition has not begun yet, but will begin with a series between Luminance and Triumph Gaming on Saturday, May 25. Uprising Academy's first match is against Wave Check later that day.
