robdab joined First Generation prior to the start of Contenders Season 3 when the team announced its rebrand from GOATs to First Generation.

He played with the team for the entire season, earning a spot in the playoffs. They were eliminated in the quarterfinals but were invited back to the first season of Contenders 2019.

Prior to joining First Generation, robdab spent Contenders Seasons 1 and 2 with NRG Esports, the academy team of the San Francisco Shock.
