The rebrand follows an Open Division season that saw the team narrowly miss out on an Open Division championship after losing to Mirage Sport Électronique in the grand final on a 4-3 scoreline.
On top of the rebrand, the team has added two additional players to their squad. DPS ShaDowZ and flex support berd join the squad.
ShaDowZ is the only player on the roster with Trials or Contenders experience. The rest of the team will be taking on Contenders Trials for the first time.
They make their Trials debut later today against Triumph Gaming.
The Square One Square One Inactive roster is:
- "Dove" (DPS)
- "BigALL" (DPS)
- John "ShaDowZ" Taney (DPS)
- Cavan "Hot Date" Aragon (Off-tank)
- Jon "Jolfe" Wolfe (Tank)
- Benjamin "UltraViolet" David (Flex Support)
- Troy "berd" Grady (Flex Support)
- Mason "Anghell1c" Herwegh (Support)
Their coaches are:
