Please welcome
Chunting "Kyo" Kong,
Li "Garry" Guan,
Xianyao "Yveltal" Li as our support lineup for this @overwatchleague season! With their composure, experience, and leadership, they’re hard not to love.#LetsGoHunt🐼 pic.twitter.com/1rGLX5u8BS
Yveltal first emerged onto the scene in June of 2017 when he joined LinGan e-Sports. He remained with the team as their main support until his signing with the Hunters. He recently represented China in the 2018 Overwatch World Cup, where he and his team finished second.
Kyo was a member of the original Team CC roster when they first entered Overwatch. He remained with the squad even as the team transitioned into the academy team of the Shanghai Dragons. He was the organization's flex support player up until he joined the Hunters.
Garry was the first player of Lucky Future, first joining the organization for Premier Series Summer 2017. He has played a number of roles for the team but has most recently played flex support.
The Hunters have the most Chinese players of any Overwatch League teams. All three of their support players are Chinese, compared to two Chinese players on both the Hangzhou Spark and Guangzhou Charge. The Shanghai Dragons only have one Chinese player.
They revealed RUI and Ray as their coaches two days ago.
The Hunters must have a minimum of eight players signed by December 1 to meet the league deadline.
