Really excited for Meta Athena now!

I mean obviously Runaway are the favourites going in, but I don't think it'll be as easy as a lot of the people in this thread say it will be.

In the most recent developer update, they've announced that 'Copa Lucioball" (translates to Lucioball cup) will be running during the duration of summer games, rewards being a spray if you complete your 10 Lucioball placement matches, and an additional spray if you finish the season in the Top 500 Lucioball players.

I think this is pretty cheesy, but it'll be good fun. Thoughts?

This event will be a breath of fresh air that the game has needed for a bit (excluding Doomfist) maybe it'll make the community a little happier :)

I don't think you can damage team mates in this game at all

IMHO widowmakers ult is REALLY good with pretty much everything, because if people survive the initial attack, you can always clean them up easily because you know exactly where they are.

This will be good to get everyone used to this game in a competitive setting.

After this post on reddit, we see a combination of Mei's Ice Wall, Roadhog's Whole Hog and Widowmakers Infrasight. This play caused the enemy team to become trapped and die at a choke. Obviously ultimate cohesion is a big part of the game, but there doesn't seem to be a thread about it here yet. Post your thoughts about what Ultimates would work well together, or what you have seen from first hand experience if you're one of the lucky bastards that got into the beta

theres a lot more variety in this game, but a meta will eventually form. But whatever the meta is, i think it'll be a lot more interesting than TF2

I think this game has more potential to have unique hero composition per team, really interested what Epsilon (or Kinguin? Sounds weird off the tongue) has to bring to the table!
