IMT definitely deserves #10, they're arguably one of the most improved teams in OW currently. I remember when everyone thought Grimreality carried the team (which he did to an extent), but Nomy and Agilities have both proven themselves as t1 players.
I don't think this kind of thing is exclusive to just the internet. In sports journalism the same kind of mob mentality exists when they label players and teams a certain way. Players get labeled as toxic and selfish among other insults yet when teammates, coaches, staff members about the same players they say the complete opposite.
I take everything from the media, on or offline with a grain of salt. The media loves to stir up nonsense and the simple minded eat it up like groceries, all while the world continues to slowly spin.
While I agree with most of the players that a default map list isn't exactly the preference of the pro players, it really isn't fun seeing the same 3-4 maps played over and over ad nauseum. I don't want this game to become CSGO where Inferno/Dust2 were played 80% of the time and any other map pick was the lone map that wasn't banned.
I like and dislike the larger potential map pool but I won't lie, seeing Hollywood, King's Row and Nepal every single match was getting really stale, especially with the rigid meta that the pros enslave themselves too.
Poor Reinforce :( His fears about his team's ineffectiveness against the new meta were fully realized against Mickie and EnVyUs who put the new D.Va meta into full-throttle.
GL to him and Rogue as they continue to reinvent themselves and the professional meta!
