Fearless replaces Roshan, so Shanghai's biggest problem should be solved. Now all they need is more than 1 dps player on the roster.
Is it wrong for me to say I don't want a franchise in China or Russia? I don't trust either of those countries to do correctly pick players and treat those players well. With the way the Dragons were constructed and the Russian government's history of corruption and cheating at traditional sports, I don't think teams in Moscow or Beijing would make the league better.
Amsterdam Blaze would be pretty good.
Except Houston has been struggling for a whole stage. Aside from needing to do something about the dps situation, they need to do more to fix the team's issues. There has absolutely been a dip in the performance of the Houston tank line this stage, and coolmatt is not the problem.
Muma doesn't make space for his team anymore. He needs to be subbed out as soon as FCTFCTN is available.
Dpei is trolling, right?
Houston is really bad at dealing with Sombra.
Houston are much more mechanically skilled than LA, but they are playing way too aggressively right now. If they just took the time to win the fights they should win, this would be an easy match for the Outlaws. Also Muma kinda sucks. Jake is a great player, but if he's just going to play soldier and tracer he's strictly worse than Clockwork.
Rawkus just threw harder than any player in OWL history

Shanghai may have 0 dps players on their roster for next week.
Edit: Holy cow Shanghai Dragons drama is even more dramatic than Dallas Fuel drama.

They've had the best entrances since day 1, but only now have they finally entered the league. Go Mayhem!
On the bright side, we might get to see 4 maps of Pine!
Reminder that that map win came against Seoul's B squad.
Cool to see Snillo playing, I guess.
Yeah, none of the western teams could pull off a game this intense.
Well, looks like a solid 2/3 for Slasher so far, we'll see if he can hit the trifecta.
My alt account got placed at 3100 which is somehow 700 points higher than my main and I'm a pretty decent main tank. Plus the tf2 season just ended so I could play a lot more.
I would at least keep cocco on the roster. It seems odd for them to go all in on OGE as their main tank despite the fact that he has never played with them.
Using Twitch chat on any channel with over 1000 viewers is pointless.
Yikes. Given that he's never been punished before I'm guessing he'll get what Taimou got (fine but no suspension).
Linkzr woke up. Just in time, too.
Clockwork is finally turning up but everyone else has fallen asleep. As much as I love my boy Muma, they probably should bring FCTFCTN in off the bench. Bani should be playing too. If Boink isn't even going to be playing Lucio, Bani is just a better choice.

A violation of the User Licence Agreement is a violation of the User Licence Agreement. The reason what Sado did was wrong was that it compromised the integrity of ranked play, which is what Silkthread did when he shared accounts, what xQc did when he threw games, and what pretty much everyone does when they create alt accounts to make it so that the top 500 is really only about 300 people. Also, I don't care about it being wrong in Korean culture. Blizzard has to have an even metric for punishing players, regardless of where they are from. Sado being Korean does not make what he did any worse.
Silkthread fined $1000 for account sharing. Sado still suspended 30 games for something similar. I know I keep bringing it up but Sado deserves justice.
Given the Shock's current record, he'd at least be worth a shot. Plus, isn't he friends with Sinatraa? They wouldn't have to commit to giving him a ton of playing time, just toss him in a few scrims and see if it works. I agree with your point about not wanting to be disruptive, though I wonder whether xQc is shaped by his environment or if his environment is shaped by him.
Linkzr is going to have to break out of his slump real soon if Houston wants to win games.
Like I said. The Linkzr we've seen these past two weeks has had 0 impact on the game.
Look, for as much as I usually am part of the anti-xQc circlejerk, you hate to see a player with that much talent leave the scene. I hope all of this shit gets sorted out and we can all get back to playing the damn game. Ever since Sado got that 30 game suspension, I've been worried about Blizzard's stance on player discipline. Rivals like Jake and xQc may sometimes trash talk each other, just like fans of their teams will, but that's part of what makes it fun to cheer for a team.
As a side note being traded might be the best possible thing that could happen to xQc. SF Shock could use a main tank and the environment there would be better for him.
When you get to the point where Taimou is playing Winston, another main tank makes sense. This should help a lot.
I want a Chicago team. I want Mangachu, KnoxXx, Mikeya, and Numlocked to play on that Chicago team. I want a reality TV series based around the house where Bren, Sideshow, and Reinforce live. I want Shanghai to win a match. I want xQc and Muma to kiss on stage. I want Ster on the desk. I want Mykl on the desk. I want a full Froyotech reunion on Houston and a full Mix^ reunion on Dallas. I want something like STV and/or demos so I can watch every match from every player's perspective. I want full stats for every match.
Is WhoRu 18? He could be a great addition if they could get him.
Sadly, this is a 4-0 for SF. Shanghai have regressed this stage.
Jake can't be the biggest douche in the league while xQc still plays.
On the bright side, I really only cheer for Houston because of Clockwork, so hopefully we get to see more of him.
What happened to Linkzr that second half? He looked awful.
Coolmatt69 is insane
Pharah kills her really easily.
Fair enough. I still think it would be strange to talk about a mission almost identical to the uprising mission around the time when uprising was released and not include it.
My guess is the new hero has to be Emre. It would be really strange to put him in the story and then not make him playable. They might release 2 heroes at once, but that seems like an awful idea balance-wise.

Similar story to babybay, but with a larger difference in K/D between wins and losses, and less overall kill participation.
What you're saying does make sense, although if it weren't for the fact that he played Widowmaker I wouldn't have come to the same conclusion. I guess you're right that going off purely what the data says there isn't enough evidence to say what babybay's role is. I'll try to keep what you're saying in mind.
So, Kungarna recently put out that they were looking for a new stats intern, and I figured I might apply, so I decided to mess around in Google Sheets a bit to see if I could come up with something interesting to say about Babybay and his role for the SF Shock (Babybay seemed like a good choice for a case study since he plays roughly the same role in every match and the SF Shock have enough map wins and losses to give sufficient data). Either way, I know a lot of people think of Babybay as the carry for SF Shock, as they did back when he was playing for Kungarna in Contenders, and I was wondering if that showed up in the stats at all.
I tallied up Babybay's Winston's Lab stats for each map win or loss during stage one and looked at his kill participation as well as K/D and First Kills-First Deaths. Overall, he had a much lower K/D in losses, but that's a reverse of the cause-effect relationship we're looking for. The team doesn't lose because he has a lower K/D, he has a lower K/D because the team loses. The most important stat to me is Babybay's kill participation, or the percentage of final blows he accounts for. At 28.9%, I imagine he certainly has one of the higher kill participation stats in the league, but the number isn't really affected all that much by whether or not the Shock win (29.2% in wins vs 28.6% in losses). The one stat that does point to Babybay perhaps needing to carry SF is the First Kills-First Deaths stat. When the Shock win, Babybay secures 1.25 more first kills per map than first deaths. When the Shock lose, he only secures .33 more first kills per map than first deaths. There may be other factors that explain this discrepancy, but I believe the stats support the idea that SF need Babybay to initiate fights and that they struggle when he doesn't. Coupled with the fact that his most played hero in stage 1 was Widowmaker, I do think there's solid evidence to say that while Babybay may not strictly be the carry for SF, his picks are a huge part of the team's game plan and they do a lot better when he's popping off.
