TF2 beta was very non toxic also, as was Evolve beta. Generally, people who play betas are just more interested in gaming and less interested in being goons.

it is smart that rockets can longer headshot...why did they ever?
don't you take this away from me before I even get to try it...
I haven't played, but I've watched considerably, I think:
edit: I also think for the health of competitive, ultimate meters should deplete with each death (maybe comp only? like how CSGO treats certain aspects). 10%-20% off an ult with each death would actually reward defenders from staving off attacking players, and make using ultimates when they are ready, a bigger more important decision.
yes but they get to play the game instead of reading about the game, so they probably haven't seen this yet :D
King of the hill might be interesting. Not sure how a 5pt cp style would work or if it would be good for the game or instead kill certain heroes my making the most mobile kings (rollouts, etc..).
I'm hoping to get access so I don't fall behind playing competitively as well as getting in on casting early. I know having played fortress games since 1999, tf2 since beta, and being involved in competitive communities along the way, I could give some sound feedback concerning OW and it's eSports potential. Unfortunately no luck as of yet, despite multiple people pulling for me. Overwatch -AA- branch is thus delayed.
Before seeing the beta I was planning on focusing on, in this order: Widowmaker, Hanzo, Tracer, Zarya, Reaper, Soldier 76, and Lucio.
From what I've seen of the people who do have beta, these will likely remain the heroes I try and master first.
Hey, friends, as many of us are likely matriculating here from TFTV, post your Battle.net tag for networking purposes. You can find your ID by logging in to your battle.net account and clicking your username on the top right side. Feel free to include whether or not you have access to the beta.
