One month ago, Luxury Watch shuffled their Red and Blue rosters together to form a powerhouse team for IEM Gyeonggi. In reality, this shuffle only swapped two players as Nanohana (now known as Fl0w3r) replaced NoName on flex dps. Luxury Watch stormed through IEM Gyeonggi, took the title, and are looking to repeat the feat with the same roster in APEX Season 2.
Originally the plan for Luxury Watch was to have their superteam play under the LW Red name, moving five players to fit around Fl0w3r. The team played as LW Red at IEM Gyeonggi but were forced to abandon that name after the former LW Red roster (starky, Arcane, Beom, aWesomeGuy, Fl0w3r, Pine) failed to qualify through Super Week for APEX S2. They were upset in their promotion battle by AF.Red after losing to RunAway, sending the LW Red roster back to Challenger and denying Luxury Watch two rosters in APEX.
As the organisation now only has LW Blue in APEX S2 - who finished in the quarterfinals of APEX S1 - this new and improved roster is going to be playing as LW Blue. They may have changed names, but their opponents will certainly recognise them from their blistering victory at IEM Gyeonggi.

That performance has put them as one of the favourites moving into APEX S2, especially with a more dive-heavy meta potentially on the horizon. Luxury Watch’s path to the trophy saw them carve their way through Kongdoo Panthera, Rogue, and Lunatic-Hai, never dropping more than one map.
The addition of Fl0w3r (formerly known as Nanohana) unlocked an explosive side to the roster that had been buried before. By adding a star dps player capable of carrying alongside the solid Saebyeolbe, Luxury Watch were able to roll through their opponents with a huge damage output and solid support structure.
The improvement in form was reflected by a large improvement in results. The team, before adding Fl0w3r, had scraped out of their group in APEX S1 ahead of KD Panthera and RunAway but fell to BK Stars 0-3 in the quarterfinals. At IEM, they looked like one of the best teams in the world. Whether this excellent form will continue remains to be seen.
LW Blue are in Group B of APEX Season 2, thought to be the most stacked group in the tournament. They are scheduled to play their first game against Misfits on Tuesday, 17th January.
The APEX Season 2 Luxury Watch Blue roster is:
- Park "Saebyeolbe" Jong-ryeol (DPS)
- Hwang "Fl0w3r" Yeon-oh (DPS)
- Kim "MekO" Tae-hong (Flex)
- Song "janus" Jun-hwa (Tank)
- Jang "Luna" Gyeong-ho (Flex support)
- Heo "Gambler" Jin-woo (Support)
