Because the invites were sent prior to cyclone becoming a proper t1 team in EU I think
thought there were supposed to be 3 NA teams invited
one team seems to have cancalled their invitation so that hammers are now part of it.
If you're referring to the previous post that had indicated that three EU and three NA teams would be invited that was debunked by someone associated to the event saying that format had never been confirmed other than in speculations.
They probably invited envy but they declined because of apex
