It is exactly 60 days since Gale Force eSports entered competitive Overwatch with the acquisition of Code7. During that time they have fallen in and out of love with harbleu and then in again all whilst demonstrating a steady improvement that has earned them the right to stand amongst the top ten teams in the world right now, but today they announced that the organisation and roster had reached a decision to go their separate ways.

Gale Force eSports General Manager, Freddie "MaVnis" Crespo, and the teams' continuing Manager, Tiffany "Tifa" Chiu, issued a joint statement on TwitLonger:
"After working together for 2 months Gale Force eSports and the current GFE Overwatch team have decided to part ways. The team is reverting to their previous name of Code 7 and GFE is working to put together a new roster for competitive Overwatch. The organization and team have mutually agreed upon this decision after coming to the realization that the two have differing perspectives. Both Gale Force eSports and the players of the Overwatch team are very grateful for our time together. We all wish one another the best and look forward to watching each other’s progress in the future."
It seems like it will be business as usual for the current North America #5 and World #9 ranked team who have now reverted to their original Code7 moniker – the question is for how long? It is surely only a matter of time before we see these guys representing a new organisation.
Hello everyone! The team will be competing as Code7 in upcoming tournaments @BEATesports, @BeyondTheSummit, & @ESL for the forseeable future
