Reminder that this exact Japan roster just made it to the grand finals in their contenders region so this match has huge poggers potential

heavenwatcher [#3]What will happen if Japanese DPS pick Genji and Hanzo while Russian tanks pick Zarya?
sanctions will happen
Hi [#12]This is a match glad I decided to stay up for this. I mean close series little bit of BM, flashy plays, delivering on all fronts really. Also I know mistakes is a tracer main, but the difference between his tracer and widow is really night and day.
Absolutely best match today so far, so balanced!
wentaway [#10]I'd honestly try Unfixed, Mistakes was literally destroyed by Dep
he is playing good on tracer now, but damn ShaDowBurn the savior
Hellafine [#14]he is playing good on tracer now, but damn ShaDowBurn the savior
his pharah all series long has just been nuts!

This match is just reminding me how much I like this patch. So many viable comps!

Totally agree again, these last few patches have been amongst the best in years, make all those crazy flex players shine (SDB in this match is an example), while also allowing tank players to play more than "just" Winston+D.VA

Yes stick to yoru best hero, I still believe for him has been a pity ending up in a team with Striker, as he's (was maybe) def one of the top Tracers, at least in EU and NA.
wentaway [#19]Damn just throwing it there, a crazy idea I know but... what if Huston could pick up Mistakes? Dude has always been great on Tracer and now also learned to switch to some other heroes (still not at the same level).
What do you mean? He's on uprising? Davin would've been the move in S1 (synergy with linkzr from gigantti, also insane tracer stats on finals 80-30KD) but for some reason they went full retard with mendo and clockwork.

Players can be traded and imo Uprising could use a different style of DPS player.
While I agree with you about being a pity Davin was the only Gigantti left out of OWL S1, I honestly don't see him going over to Huston.
On the other side, Clockwork was already part of the team (FNRGFE) same as Bani, Boink, Muma and Coollmatt.
Mendo was some sort of a bet, very talented young player, didn't really work out, mainly I think 'cause of all the non-game related issues he had for the first half of Season 1.

Well what about linkzr-davin synergy on gigantti then? This argument doesn't really make ANY sense at all.

It makes sense from an economical point of view of why those players were in the Huston roster to begin with.
Sort of what happened for example with Valiant picking up the Immortal team (as a core) and SF Shock picking up IDDQD.

Makes sense from an economical viewpoint to get a player who gets 0 playtime.. Ok. If they were to actually do what your hypothesis implies, they should've gotten buds instead of him.
