The addition comes after Element Mystic’s top eight finish in Contenders Season 1 Korea, where they topped their round robin group and were eliminated in the quarterfinals of the playoffs. This also comes after the team recently suspended DPS player Sp9rk1e for account selling.

Alpha previously played for RunAway in the last season of Contenders after a transfer from Bon’s Spirit Gaming, and helped the team place in the top four of the standings.

Element Mystic are set to compete in Group B of Contenders Season 2 Korea, which commences on July 4.
