This addition is the latest in a series of roster changes for Meta Athena after their bottom two finish in Contenders Season 1 Korea. The past month saw Sungwoo, Recry and Selly arrive on the team, while BigBox and dissme departed.

Modern recently played for DeToNator.KOREA in the Pacific region, where he and the team completed a run through the region’s Open Division, Trials, and Contenders to claim the Contenders Season 1 Pacific trophy. The lineup was released by the organization last month.

Meta Athena is set to compete in Trials, where they’ll have qualify for Contenders Season 2.
