Ok: elephant in the room, yes, I put Dallas at 5th. Now there are two main reasons to this.
A. The mercy meta has ended, meaning Chips, Custa, and Carryhook can all go on their support roles unchained.
B. Akm and Rascal should be good additions to the squad, plus xQc will be back so they have another tank

I don’t see Seoul recovering immediately from this slump, and until they figure it out I’m putting them at 4th

Both NYXL and London are red hot, I don’t see them slowing down

Houston did so well but with Junkrat getting a slight nerf he may not be just as effective, and the addition of FCTFCTN is good I doubt it will do that much. This 6th place is really hard to put them at. If you ranked every team on a scale of 1-10. Every team above them is a 9+ and I feel like Houston is an 8.5

Similar story with Boston, I know how good they are but I just don’t see them as better than these top 6 teams. A very close seventh

Unfortunately D.va bombs isn’t enough to put Philadelphia any higher than eighth

Yeah, I know the Gladiators collapsed towards the end but there is so much talent on this team that I have to put them at the top of the bottom tie

Nothing changed with the Shock, so their placements probably won’t either ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Yes, Mayhem got some much needed changes, but I still don’t see them being good quite yet

Ah yes, the dragons. As good as Geguri and the other pickups are, communication issues and just lack of talent will probably keep Shanghai at the bottom of the bin. At least for this staged

You really dont think Mayhem was significantly upgraded?

It's truly impossible to predict a complete 1-12 ranking of these teams, judging by how close they all are already and how much closer they're bound to be with recent pickups and more experience/practice. Here's a more probable, but opinionated (and purposefully broader) list:

Edit 1: I was too lazy to put a detailed explanation so I'll just say that the changes I put were mostly because of the meta change and the chance that both tanks and dive will be viable.

Edit 2: Also, Mayhem and Dragons pickups may not be available for a while due to possible VISA issues
