I would guess people with proven success at other similar titles or multiple games that have a good attitude and mindset towards new games.
Beta all-stars is definitely a thing I've noticed in other games, but there are also some golden players that continue to improve and stay really good, so you want to pick them up if possible, kind of a gamble in some ways. Excited to hear he's looking at picking up players already, I've always been a fan of Complexity.

Probably that it's much easier to stand out when there's such a smaller player pool and also players who are really not well-adjusted to competitive scenes. People get online jitters like crazy.
